I think I'm going to start getting into the habit of blogging since I have no life and plenty of time on my hands.
Papa's funeral was yesterday, it was sweet, sad, but we all got the chance to share a few laughs. Because you see, my papa wouldn't want us to be sad.
As stated in Ecclesiastes, chapter 3, there's a time for everything. "A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance" (verse 4) But also, maybe, there's still a time for both. Can't we mourn at the loss, but celebrate by the life? Knowing that one day, we will get the chance to see him again?
"A time to be born, and a time to die" (verse 1)
Because we can't prolong the inevitable. Isn't there a time for us all? Turn around and see that whoever is there, won't be forever. Let's not dwell on it, but come to terms with it, maybe? Is that right? Maybe we can't stop what's going to happen, we can't try. It's the laws of nature; you take your first breath, then take your last, and maybe you just can't make that last one longer than it's supposed to be.
"A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing."
"A time to search and a time to give up....."
"A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war, and a time for peace...."
“God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”
So, let's be repetitive.
And not prolong the inevitable?
